Blends in With Our Swarovski
Although they certainly can't match the Swarovski (they are un-paralleled), our own Ethereal brand is the best, economical alternative. Better still, they are connected the same way as our fine Swarovski ropes and due to somewhat similar cut pattern and same sizes, they blend in well with the Swarovski. Use our Ethereal Crystal Ropes alone if your budget does not allow Swarovski, or use both our Ethereal and Swarovski Lead Free on the same project and watch the Swarovski lend them even more of that legendary fire!

Size Matters
1 full METER of own NEW, Ethereal Crystal (manufactured at our factory) 14mm (.55") octagon glass crystals, linked into a chain. Extra Long length (over 39" inches which is 3" inches longer than 3' feet.
Use a ruler or our size chart to properly visualize the width of the crystals you are ordering.
Need Shorter or Even Longer Lengths?
Easily separates anywhere on the half inch by removing one of the lovely Textured Straight style connectors. Easier to separate than loops. Do so with care by completely unbending the desired link and sliding it out. You can separate one meter into 3 chains of 13" inches each or even 6 chains of 6.5" inches each, etc. For longer lengths, take one extra connector and hook your long chain to another by easily hooking in one link.

Unless you are purchasing a large amount of 1000 or more chains, all prices are already at their lowest, with the event planner/florist in mind. Available in your choice of either SIlver or Gold Plated brass connectors.

Eco Friendly
Our new Ethereal Crystal and our Swarovski Lead Free crystal ropes, DO NOT contain lead, which is better for you and better for the environment.
No Lead, Glass Crystal is Lighter & Less Fragile than Lead Crystal
All lead crystal is more fragile, (not less fragile) than no-lead or glass crystal. Lead Crystal or Austrian Crystal is also substantially heavier. Crystal makers know and confirm that Lead, although a metal, causes the glass to actually become more brittle.
Connectors
Crystals are linked together with our elegant, very subtle, silver or gold colored Textured Straight connectors. No loopy loops and no bow-ties.
Picture above shows our own COLORLESS, CLEAR Ethereal Lead Free Crystal. What looks like "color" are actual, natural rainbow sparkle formed by light hitting the crystal. Since we don't use fake sparkle as some sites do, please note: it is difficult to capture real crystal sparkle and rainbows on film.
Crystals Quality 101 (a short lesson)
There are no inexpensive brands of crystals that do not contain flaws since it occurs unavoidably in manufacturing in all factories that produce more affordable crystal. One of our main competitors confirms this about their own crystals, but they do it during check-out at the bottom of their shopping cart. Precision Machine Cutting (Swarovski) is costly and is the only process that produces virtually flawless crystals with few-and-far-between "inclusions". It is then followed up with Precision Machine Polishing which adds to the sparkle. Inexpensive crystals do not use either of these expensive processes perfected by Swarovski.
Ethereal Crystals Quality
Our Ethereal Crystals are first quality, no "seconds". These crystals are the best ECONOMICAL lead free glass crystals available and have the best sparkle possible without the lead. This does not mean they match Swarovski, but they are the best 1st runner up for the price. Faceting is sharp, though not precision cut with razor-sharp facets like our Lead Free, pure and FLAWLESS Swarovski.
All economical crystals (lead or no lead) sold anywhere have flaws or "inclusions". This means some will contain tiny air bubbles, scratches or marks that occurs during manufacturing. The cheaper the crystals are from wherever you buy, the more and the worse these flaws and inclusions they normally will contain. You sacrifice quality and sparkle for the lowest prices. Super-cheap glass crystal prices usually means you are getting very low quality which you will likely realize on your project when you are less than pleased with the sparkle.
Our Ethereal Crystals are NOT the least expensive, but are the best available for such a reasonable price, have the best light refraction (sparkle) and the least flaws of any glass crystal outside of Swarovski. We don't sell the cheap, low-quality stuff. These are the best choice if Swarovski is out of your budget.
Because marks are minimal in the quality of our Ethereal Crystals compared to other similarly or lower priced crystals, these are not considered defects. If you look closely, you may be able to see one in the picture above. You will NOT notice them however, on your project, only if examining one that has such a mark up-close to your eye in a way that is not normal. It's like a virtually flawless diamond (Swarovski) and one with natural "inclusions". |
