14mm - .55" Swarovski Premium Lead Free Crystal - One YARD / 36" Rope

36" inch long linked together chain of genuine Swarovski glass crystals. Each crystal in the chain is 14mm size which is precisely .55" inches tall and .55" inches wide. We also sell these Swarovski 14mm crystals in 1' foot long chains (12" inches). This yard long chain is 3 x as long as the 1 foot long chain, hence the price difference.
Size Matters
The product name tells you how big each crystal is in the chain is (in millimeters or mm) the fractions of an inch measurement so that you may visual individual crystals in relation to a ruler. It also gives you the final, finished length of the chain. There is a mm size chart below the product image to your right. Click on it for size comparisons to everyday objects for your reference.

This is the exact same brand used on the Famous Crystal Tree seen in Bride's magazine and on Preston Bailey's famous designs. 14mm crystal size is a great size for candelabras, crystal curtains, smaller centerpieces, etc. Chains can be quickly hooked together to form longer ropes.
Minimum order is 2 yards which is the same thing as 6' feet. Lowest price when you buy 4 or more yards.
Need Shorter or Even Longer Lengths?
Easily separates anywhere on the half inch by removing one of the lovely connectors. Easier to separate than loops. Do so with care by completely unbending the desired link and sliding it out. You can separate one yard into 3 chains of approximately 1' each or even 6 chains of 6" inches each, etc. For longer lengths, take one extra connector and hook your long chain to another by easily hooking in one link.

No Lead, Glass Crystal is Lighter & Less Fragile than Lead Crystal
All lead crystal is more fragile, (not less fragile) than no-lead or glass crystal. Lead Crystal or Austrian Crystal is also substantially heavier. Crystal makers know and confirm that Lead, although a metal, causes the glass to actually become more brittle.
Why Buy Fine Swarovski in 1 ft. Ropes?
Hooking our 1 ft. ropes together (if desired) is faster and safer on premium quality crystals than separating yard long ropes into shorter ones. Taking OUT any closed, bent pin could chip a crystal, while putting a straight, new one IN (linking together) is best.

Crystals linked together with silver or gold colored connecter pins or bow-ties which are stiffer. Standard straight connectors or coil connetors are the most subtle, like the ones on tree project #1. Picture above shows COLORLESS, CLEAR Swarovski Lead Free. What looks like "color" are actual, natural rainbow sparkle formed by light hitting this purity of crystal which is reflected around the room and on the walls. Although photos can capture it's rainbow colors, they can't truly capture Swarovski's glamorous sparkle. Measurements in parts of an inch are noted next to mm sizes for each product.
Photos Don't Do Them Justice ...
Our photos are a mere taste; in person, the movement of their crisp, rich rainbows is exquisite. Lead Free Swarovski is indistinguishable from it's sister Swarovski Strass when hanging together unless you examine the facet pattern. This chain has no "Aurora Borealis" or AB plastic coating.
What is AB or Aurora Borealis Crystal?
AB is commonly used on plastic acrylic "crystals" & cheaper crystals to "mimic" rainbows they're not really making. However, when it is done to Swarovski crystals, the AB coating is done much more precisely and makes already fabulous crystal look even more brilliant. When the crystals are not brilliant on their own and when it is done cheaply and on big surfaces of cheap crystal, it can look a little gaudy and actually blocks the light from going through the crystal. This means it can't make any of it's own natural sparkle.
Connectors: Choose Straight, Coils or Bow-Ties,
Both our Textured Straight & Straight Connectors are the narrowest and most subtle of all. Our Coil Pins are also very subtle, allowing light to pass through the pin. Bow-Ties are also available. Choose Silver or Gold in standard Straight Connectors or Bow-Ties with this size, at no extra charge. Additional charge for Coil Connectors (see drop down menu when adding to cart). This size is not available with the Textured Straight Connector.
Standard and Special Order Connectors
Connectors other than standard straight (silver or gold) are considered Special Order. If you choose Special Order connectors, the order wil take approximately 1 week longer to ship out.
