Size Matters
2" inch long crystal from top to bottom. Extra large size & lovely shape for hanging on ends of Swarovski or Ethereal ropes / chains or hang these individually. Crystal teardrop has one hole at top. Prices are per piece. Measurements in parts of an inch are noted next to mm sizes for each product.
How to Hang
Hang individually from clear monofilament, ribbon or chord as in Tree project #2 or hang them on the ends of our fine Ethereal Crystal or Swarovski crystal ropes.
How to Attach to Crystal Chains or Ropes
Thread thin florist wire or craft wire through the hole in this crystal and then through the bottom hole of one of our crystal chains or use one of our straight linking pins or bow-tie linking pins. One linking pin will hook this crystal through the bottom hole of one of our chains. The straght linking pin works well on chains linked with any type of connector (including coil pins) since it is the most subtle of all links. Meaning, if you have chains linked with coil connectors, it will still look lovely if the teardrop is attached with a Straight connector.

Eco-friendly
Lead crystals, of course, contain lots of Lead. Lead is known to cause lead poisoning, illnesses and reproductive harm (see warnings regarding lead on Crystals Ordering page). Our new Ethereal Crystal, Diamante' crystals, Quality Glass Crystals and our Swarovski Lead Free crystal pieces and ropes, DO NOT contain lead.
Picture above shows our own COLORLESS, CLEAR, Quality Lead Free Glass Crystal. What looks like "color" are actual, natural rainbow sparkle formed by light hitting the crystal. Since we don't use fake sparkle as some sites do, please note: it is difficult to capture real crystal sparkle and rainbows on film.
Crystals Quality 101 (a short lesson)
There are no inexpensive brands of crystals that do not contain flaws since it occurs unavoidably in manufacturing in all factories that produce more affordable crystal. One of our main competitors confirms this about their own crystals, but they do it during check-out at the bottom of their shopping cart. Precision Machine Cutting (Swarovski) is costly and is the only process that produces virtually flawless crystals with few-and-far-between "inclusions". It is then followed up with Precision Machine Polishing which adds to the sparkle. Inexpensive crystals do not use either of these expensive processes perfected by Swarovski.
Glass Crystals Quality
All economical crystals (lead or no lead) sold anywhere have flaws or "inclusions". This means some will contain tiny air bubbles, scratches or marks that occurs during manufacturing. The cheaper the crystals are from wherever you buy, the more and the worse these flaws and inclusions they normally will contain. You sacrifice quality and sparkle for the lowest prices. Super-cheap glass crystal prices usually means you are getting very low quality which you will likely realize on your project when you are less than pleased with the sparkle. |
