Subtle Pins Avoid the Fatal "Bow-Tie & Loopy Loop" Design Disruption!
Draw attention to the crystals ... not the metal connectors in between. Subtle, elegant links like straight connectors or coils make your crystals look more like falling, crystal raindrops.
Size Matters
1 foot length chain of Genuine Swarovski crystals, alternating between larger size 20mm (.79") and smaller size 16mm (.63") octagon lead free glass crystals. Two or more ropes can be quickly hooked together to form longer ropes. Minimum order is 6 ropes (6 feet) which is the same thing as 2 yards.

Swarovski Lead Free Crystal is used by high-end manufacturers for superior sparkle that excedes all non-Swarovski Crystal. Lead is known to cause lead poisoning, illnesses and reproductive harm (see warnings regarding lead on Crystals Ordering page). In addition to the lead in the piece itself, connecting leaded crystals into chains by inserting a connector such as a bow-tie or other metal piece creates a grind-off of lead dust. Our new Ethereal Crystal, Diamante' crystals and our Swarovski Lead Free crystal pieces and ropes, DO NOT contain lead.
Why Buy 1 ft. Ropes?
Hooking our 1 ft. ropes together (if desired) is faster and safer than separating yard long ropes into shorter ones since taking OUT any closed, bent pin often chips crystals, while putting a straight, new one IN(linking together) does not.

Crystals linked together with silver or gold colored connecter pins or bow-ties which are stiffer. Standard straight connectors or coil connetors are the most subtle, like the ones on tree project #1. Bow-ties stand out more and don't allow the crystals to individually turn a bit, for more sparkle).

Picture above shows COLORLESS, CLEAR Swarovski Lead Free. What looks like "color" are actual, natural rainbow sparkle formed by light hitting this purity of crystal which is reflected around the room and on the walls. Although photos can capture it's rainbow colors, they can't truly capture Swarovski's glamorous sparkle.
Photos Don't Do Them Justice ...
Our photos are a mere taste; in person, the movement of their crisp, rich rainbows is exquisite. Lead Free Swarovski is indistinguishable from it's sister Swarovski Strass when hanging together unless you examine the facet pattern. No "Aurora Borealis" or AB plastic coating (commonly used on plastic acrylic "crystals" & cheaper crystals to "mimic" rainbows they're not really making). Measurements in parts of an inch are noted next to mm sizes for each product.
Linking Pins Choose Straight Pins, Coils or Bow-Ties
Our Standard Pins are now the Straight Pins which are the narrowest and most subtle of all. Our Coil Pins are also very subtle, allowing light to pass through the pin. Bow-Ties are also available. When linked with the Bow-Ties, prices are .35 cents more, per rope in 16mm, 20mm and 24mm size. No additional charge for bow-ties on 14mm size. Note: If you choose Coil Pins as your first choice and they are unavailable, you will receive your chains with Straight pins. |
