Subtle Pins Avoid the Fatal "Bow-Tie & Loopy Loop" Design Disruption!
Draw attention to the crystals ... not the metal connectors in between. Subtle, elegant links like straight connectors or coils make your crystals look more like falling, crystal raindrops.
Size Matters
Wholesale pricing on 1 foot of our own Diamante', linked 24mm (.94") octagon glass crystals. Similar to size of a U.S. quarter. Use a ruler or our size chart to properly visualize the width of the crystals you are ordering. All prices are WHOLESALE with the event planner/florist in mind. Minimum order is 9 ropes (9'Feet) which is the same thing as 3 yards. Lowest price on 20 or more ropes. All dimensions are approximate.
Economical, Quality Crystal
They have very few (if any) flaws and nice sparkle compared to other lower cost glass crystals. Far better than acrylic also. They have a different type of sparkle than our Swarovski ropes. Swarovski's sparkle is so intense that it makes rainbows. The Diamante' crystals make a more colorless and therefore, less intense sparkle. They are excellent for stretching the budget on projects which require more such as lots of table centerpieces. They are pinned the same way as our fine Swarovski and Ethereal ropes. Good Quality. Cut like diamonds (pointed back). Multi-faceted and cut to insure sparkle.

Eco-friendly
Lead crystals, of course, contain lots of Lead. Lead is known to cause lead poisoning, illnesses and reproductive harm (see warnings regarding lead on Crystals Ordering page). In addition to the lead in the piece itself, connecting leaded crystals into chains by inserting a connector such as a bow-tie or other metal piece creates a grind-off of lead dust. Our Diamante' and Ethereal crystals and our Swarovski Lead Free crystal ropes, DO NOT contain lead.
Why Buy 1 ft. Ropes?
Hooking our 1 ft. ropes together (if desired) is faster and safer than separating yard long ropes into shorter ones since taking OUT any closed, bent pin often chips crystals, while putting a straight, new one IN(linking together) does not.
Crystals are linked together with our silver or gold colored Standard Straight connector pins, Coils or even Bow-Ties. The Standard Straight and Coil connectors are the most subtle like the ones one tree project #1 (unlike bow ties which stand out and don't allow the crystals to individually turn a bit, for more sparkle).
Picture above shows our COLORLESS, CLEAR Diamante' Lead Free Crystal. What looks like "color" are actual, natural rainbow sparkle formed by light hitting the crystal. Since we don't use fake sparkle as some sites do, please note: it is difficult to capture real crystal sparkle and rainbows on film.
Crystals Quality 101 (a short lesson)
There are no inexpensive brands of crystals that do not contain flaws since it occurs unavoidably in manufacturing in all factories that produce more affordable crystal. One of our main competitors confirms this about their own crystals, but they do it during check-out at the bottom of their shopping cart. Precision Machine Cutting (Swarovski) is costly and is the only process that produces virtually flawless crystals with few-and-far-between "inclusions". It is then followed up with Precision Machine Polishing which adds to the sparkle. Inexpensive crystals do not use either of these expensive processes perfected by Swarovski.
Diamante' Crystals Quality
Our Diamante' Crystals are first quality, no "seconds". All economical crystals (lead or no lead) sold anywhere have flaws or "inclusions". This means some will contain tiny air bubbles, scratches or marks that occurs during manufacturing. The cheaper the crystals are from wherever you buy, the more and the worse these flaws and inclusions they normally will contain. You sacrifice quality and sparkle for the lowest prices. Super-cheap glass crystal prices usually means you are getting very low quality which you will likely realize on your project when you are less than pleased with the sparkle.
Our Diamante' and Ethereal Crystals are NOT the least expensive, but are the best available for such a reasonable price, have the best light refraction (sparkle) and the least flaws of any glass crystal outside of Swarovski. We don't sell the cheap, low-quality stuff. These are a good choice if Swarovski is out of your budget.
Because marks are minimal in the quality of our Diamante' and in our Ethereal Crystals compared to other similarly or lower priced crystals, these are not considered defects. If you look closely, you may be able to see one in the picture above. You will NOT notice them however, on your project, only if examining one that has such a mark up-close to your eye in a way that is not normal. It's like a virtually flawless diamond (Swarovski) and one with natural "inclusions".
Choose Straight Pins, Coils or Bow-Ties, Picture Below shows SWAROVSKI, not Ethereal
Our Standard Pins are now the Straight Pins which are the narrowest and most subtle of all. Our Coil Pins are also very subtle, allowing light to pass through the pin. Bow-Ties are also available. Choose Silver or Gold in standard Straight Pins, Coil Pins or Bow-Ties on our 16mm Diamante' ropes. Bow-ties add an additional .35 cents charge. 20mm and 24mm Diamante' ropes available with Straight Pin or Bow-Tie connectors only.
Note: If you choose Coil Pins as your first choice on your 16mm Diamante' ropes and they are unavailable, you will receive your chains with Straight pins. |
