The Swarovski lends some of it's legendary fire to the Ethereal crystal. 2 or more ropes can be quickly hooked together for longer ropes. Minimum order is 6 ropes (6 feet) which is the same thing as 2 yards. Why Buy 1 ft. Ropes? Linking our 1 ft. ropes together is faster and safer than separating yard long ropes into shorter ones since taking OUT any closed, bent pin often chips crystals, while putting a straight, new one IN (linking together) does not. Health & Safety Swarovski Lead Free Crystal is used by high-end manufacturers for superior sparkle that excedes all non-Swarovski Crystal. Lead crystals, of course, contain lots of Lead. Lead is known to cause lead poisoning, illnesses and reproductive harm (see warnings regarding lead on Crystals Ordering page). This Swarovski Lead Free crystal DOES NOT contain lead. Crystals linked together with silver or gold colored connecter pins or bow-ties. Bow-Ties are less subtle and make chains more stiff). The standard connector is the most subtle like the ones one tree project #1. Bow-ties stand out more and don't allow the crystals to individually turn a bit, for more sparkle, but cost .50 cents less per rope. Swarovski Amps Up the Ethereal Our own Ethereal crystal can't match Swarovski's sparkle (no other lead free can), but when linked together, they are a match made in heaven. The virtually flawless Swarovski brings the sparkle and fire and lends some of it's brilliant rainbows to the Ethereal crystal. Our Ethereal crystal allows you to secretly stretch your crystal budget by filling the gap between each Swarovski and filling out your decor project without sacrificing the "wow" factor. Picture above shows COLORLESS, CLEAR Swarovski Lead Free linked together (alternating) with our economical Ethereal Crystal. The Swarovski actually reflects some of it's own sparkle and rainbows off of the Ethereal crystal. The cut of the Ethereal crystal is somewhat similar and when linked together, no one will be able to easily tell it's not all Swarovski. The Swarovski still delivers. What looks like "color" are actual, natural rainbow sparkle formed by light hitting this purity of crystal which is reflected around the room and on the walls. Although photos can capture it's rainbow colors, they can't truly capture Swarovski's glamorous sparkle. Our photos are a mere taste; in person, the movement of their crisp, rich rainbows is exquisite. Lead Free Swarovski is indistinguishable from it's sister Swarovski Strass when hanging together unless you examine the facet pattern. Crystals Quality 101 (a short lesson) There are no inexpensive brands of crystals that do not contain flaws since it occurs unavoidably in manufacturing in all factories that produce more affordable crystal. One of our main competitors confirms this about their own crystals, but they do it during check-out at the bottom of their shopping cart. Precision Machine Cutting (Swarovski) is costly and is the only process that produces virtually flawless crystals with few-and-far-between "inclusions". It is then followed up with Precision Machine Polishing which adds to the sparkle. Inexpensive crystals do not use either of these expensive processes perfected by Swarovski. Ethereal Crystals Quality Our Ethereal Crystals are first quality, no "seconds". These crystals are the best ECONOMICAL lead free glass crystals available and have the best sparkle possible without the lead. This does not mean they match Swarovski, but they are the best 1st runner up for the price. Faceting is sharp, though not precision cut with razor-sharp facets like our Lead Free, pure and FLAWLESS Swarovski. All economical crystals (lead or no lead) sold anywhere have flaws or "inclusions". This means some will contain tiny air bubbles, scratches or marks that occurs during manufacturing. The cheaper the crystals are from wherever you buy, the more and the worse these flaws and inclusions they normally will contain. You sacrifice quality and sparkle for the lowest prices. Super-cheap glass crystal prices usually means you are getting very low quality which you will likely realize on your project when you are less than pleased with the sparkle. Our Ethereal Crystals are NOT the least expensive, but are the best available for such a reasonable price, have the best light refraction (sparkle) and the least flaws of any glass crystal outside of Swarovski. We don't sell the cheap, low-quality stuff. These are the best choice if Swarovski is out of your budget. Because marks are minimal in the quality of our Ethereal Crystals compared to other similarly or lower priced crystals, these are not considered defects. If you look closely, you may be able to see one in the picture above. You will NOT notice them however, on your project, only if examining one that has such a mark up-close to your eye in a way that is not normal. It's like a virtually flawless diamond (Swarovski) and one with natural "inclusions". Neither the Swarovski or the Ethereal have an "Aurora Borealis" or AB plastic coating (commonly used on plastic acrylic "crystals" & cheaper crystals to "mimic" rainbows they're not really making).
