The photograph shown above is of a specific 5' tall, willowy tree done for one of our customers. This customer later placed an order for 15 trees. This one was painted a dark, brassy gold (yours will be natural brown/burgandy unless you add painting to your order). This tree is is shown holding 24 of our lead free crystal ropes (24mm and 16mm) which are not included. You can add the crystals of your choice to your cart separately from our crystals page. If you choose our 4' or smaller trees, they are all made the same way, however, the dimensions change. The trees can be customized to fit your vision by hanging fresh or fine silk flowers, crystal ropes or prisms, votive candles, butterflies or vines, painting, splotching with two tones of color, gluing on rhinestones, trim, the possibilities are endless.
What could look more natural than natural? Unlike clone-like, unrealistic looking metal trees, each of our trees is unpredictable, artistic and each is beautifully, naturally unique. Sure a typical metal tree, snatched off a shelf can ship same day, but trees like these take artistry, loving care and little time, but most things worth having are worth waiting a short time for. Most of our lovely trees are ready to ship out in only about 2 weeks. Larger orders may take longer. Each of our trees is professionally made just for you which means they can't look absolutely identical to those at any other event. Finished natural tree made of only the best quality, premium real trees, pre-selected by hand and fixed to it's weighted base. This is the same species of tree used in the Famous Crystal Tree seen in Brides magazine (Crystal Tree Project #1 on our site). You can add the crystals of your choice as an option. When purchased with Swarovski crystals, we alternate both 16mm and 24mm crystals on the same chain to give you the look of all large crystals at a lower cost. If you add Diamante' crystals, they are 24mm on one chain and 16mm on the other. Finished, weighted trees are approximately 5'feet tall and up to 24" inches wide. PROFESSIONALY made, pruned and professionally weighted and finished for sturdiness and attractiveness. Tree with weighted base attached can be used as is or can be covered with fabric if desired, but not necessary. Base is shown spray painted gold, since the tree pictured is sprayed gold. Natural, unpainted trees come with the same base in dark brown. You can also purchase with sheet moss covering the top or you can purchase it with the top uncovered and cover it yourself with moss, decor rocks or even crystals. These trees are much more stable than metal trees with a "vine-like" foot base. Crystal is NOT included but can be added as an opotion and hung on the tree if desired. Tree can be left natural brownish burgandy bark color or can be painted your preferred color such as silver, gold etc. using common wood or multi purpose spray paint. Paint your tree yourself and save or if you have no space, time or inclination to spray them yourself, you can have them spray painted by us in silver, gold, etc. You can add spray painting at added cost when adding to cart. We include touch up paint that can be applied to the tree, just in case there are any scratches in paint during shipping. This does not usually happen, but is obviously possible and not considered "damage". We hand select our branches and use only the highest quality Manzanita. Each tree is unique, which is why we have posted no picture of "your tree", only an example tree. Each tree is FINISHED and trimmed for the best symmetry possible and has most of the dried leaves removed. It will be it's natural burgandy tinted brown color which can be used as is (lovely for hanging flowers) or painted over (metallics add sparkle to hanging crystals). The tree shown is an example only since no two trees or branches are alike. When ordering, keep in mind that the basic look will be similar, but branch shape can vary widely. Due to the nature of manzanita (twisted trunk), it is not possible for them to be perfectly "centered" in the base. Branches must be placed in the best way so that the bulk width of the tree is somewhat centered over the pot, not the trunk centered in the pot. Centering the trunk smack dab in the middle of the pot would usually leave the width of the tree itself, way off center over the pot. This is a NATURAL product and may contain knicks or scratches in the wood (as is natural on the tree) and some areas of the wood that are darker or lighter than in other areas. This is a natural feature that is part of the tree. No tree is "blemish free" and blemishes are part of their beauty. If painting another color, paint will cover over blemishes. Cheap manzanita branches are usually the cast-offs that are so twisted, crooked that they are impossible to work with. Manzanitas are inherently crooked, so if you want a "straight" tree, do not buy manzanita. Your tree will be somewhat crooked, possibly leaning or sweeping a bit to one side or the other (some more so than others). This is a part of their gnarly, twisted, bonsai-like beauty, not a defect. It gives them character and an artistic appeal. However, we do hand-select the best for the most lovely finished look possible. Some of the tinier branches will usually be found broken off inside the box during shipping, however since there are so many, it will not affect the overall look of the tree. Sometimes a larger branch is broken in shipping. Broken branches are not considered "damage" since there is no way to ship this type of tree without expecting some to break off. Not from us and not from anyone else. If you buy loose branches it will happen and if you buy a finished tree it will happen. You will receive a free tube of wood-glue so that just in case a larger branch is broken off in shipping, you can quickly, easily re-attach it if desired. In most cases, the tree looks fine without the broken off branch. In the case of a broken branch that you prefer back on, simply apply the glue to the jagged break of any larger branch, press it back in position, wrap with tape to hold until dry, wait 15 minutes, remove the tape and the bonded area is actually STRONGER than the original wood was. It can hold more weight than it could before the break! This technique usually works wonderfully and is virtually undetectable unless you are actively searching for the spot. What is considered "damage"? The tree coming out of the base is the only things considered "damage" if done during shipping and this has NEVER happened to one of our trees shipped. The tree is one of the hardest woods known to man and it is tough. In addition, we mount them well and we don't believe that tree can come loose during shipping unless the UPS truck is wrecked and demolished as well! Size will be within 3" inches of stated dimensions, more or less. This item is non-refundable final sale. Note: This tree stands alone by it's attached, un-removable weighted base which can be spray painted any color of your choice. If you choose to, the tree (in it's standard weighted base) can also be placed inside a decorative planter, but we think the base alone is perfect. Base can also be covered with silk fabric, jewels, rhinestones, trim, crystals, whatever adds to your vision. Real or artificial flowers can also be placed on the top of the base. Reduced Shipping Cost We actually only charge you about half of the actual shipping cost via UPS. If you enter in the dimensions of a box large enough to fit this tree, you will see that the rates come up at least twice as high on UPS.com than what you pay. We absorb the rest of the cost of shipping it to you. All the Tree projects on our site use 5' foot - 6' foot tall trees (projects #1 and #3) or approximately 8' - 10' foot trees (project #2). Be aware that using a tree smaller than this 4' foot tree will not achieve the stunning, focal point, awesome and stately appearance of the projects shown on our website. This is especially true since smaller trees do not allow enough room for "hanging". Guests should be looking "up" at the hanging orchids, crystals or votives, not "down" or directly at them. Our smaller 3' trees are better suited as guest table centerpieces with real or silk flowers and or crystals (not room focal point trees). If you want an even larger tree, contact us for a custom designed up to 10 feet tall just for you, but the shipping cost would be $150 - $350 due to UPS oversized Freight package rates and other tractor trailer palette truck rates depending upon what part of the country you need it trucked to. Discounts We currently do not offer "bulk" discounts on these fine finished trees. Manzanita is tough to work with and labor intensive. Larger sizes are not a cinch to mount. There is work involved, which is why we can't sell them for peanuts and sell multiple tree orders for half a peanut per tree. 20 trees is not less work than 1 tree, but 20 times as much work, which means we do can't offer quantity discounts based on the number of trees ordered or special discounts to our event planner, retailer and florist customers.
