A full yard long (approximately 3 x the length of our Swarovski 1 foot ropes), making them more economical than Swarovski when you break the price down by the foot and compare. Made of our linked together, Quality Diamante' Diamond Cut Lead Free 14mm (.55") octagon glass crystal. No stiff bow-ties, but a subtle gold link only (no silver; note: gold links add "warmth" to the crystals; the famous silver Crystal Tree seen in Bride's magazine is silver, but they used gold connectors on the crystals, likely for this reason. This loop pinning is the finest pinning available in the world, because it is secure and allows crystals to turn (catching the light) better than any other pins.
As our pictures show, these crystals can't match Swarovski's firey sparkle and rainbows, but they are the best second choice at a great price. If you need to stretch your budget, just mix them in with Swarovski Lead Free ropes. It's the next best thing to the first choice which is of course, all Swarovski. Although the larger 16mm is far better suited to crystal tree decorations, this rope works on our artificial branches. The famous Crystal Tree (Project #1) used 16mm as the smallest size on the tree (not these 14mm which uses crystals significantly smaller than size of a dime). 14mm crystal size is better used on candelabras, etc. Gold connectors only, no silver available. |
